Why a Center for Radical Transformation?
A better world is possible.

May it be our sacred duty to love the world as hard as we can by trying to live more beautifully, more gently, more presently, and more imaginatively into it.

May we band together so that we might hospice out those systems of Empire that are making us so sick (capitalism, modernity, consumerism, militarism, etc.) and midwife the better world to come.
​
A world in which is easier to love.
A world in which we feel connected to each other,
to our more-than-human kin, and to The Great Mystery.
A world in which it is not so painful just to survive in.

We don’t know what this better world is yet.
But we can feel it in our yearning. "She is on her way."

What is it?

The Center for Radical Transformation is a spirit and community-inspired grassroots movement organism located in Southern Maine. It is a vessel where we might experiment with new and deeply remembered ways of being
to manifest the world we’re longing for.

Vision
​
The Center is an emergent portal for the better world to come. The Center will act as a site for threshold crossing, a space for us to midwife necessary change. Life will be there, spirit will be moving, and people will have their needs met. The Center will manifest itself as a love letter to the world which we will write through the art of our very lives.
Mission

Through various experiments, both radically new and deeply remembered, material and spiritual, social and ecological, The Center for Radical Transformation seeks to cultivate alternative ways of living that encourage collective flourishing.
Who is it for?

The Center is for anyone looking to get free. For anyone who has ever had an inkling that there might be a third way but didn't have the community, space, or resources to try something different. The Center is for anyone for whom the systems of Empire aren't working. For anyone who dreams of actualizing a better world.
